Privacy Policy

Updated

Plume is a free, open-source WordPress plugin for offloading media to cloud storage. This policy covers the plugin and the website plume.arunprakashg.com. In it, “Plume”, “we” and “us” mean the maintainer of the plugin and the website, Arun Prakash.

The plugin

The plugin does not send data to any Plume-operated service. There is no telemetry, no usage statistics, no account system and no license check.

The only outbound network calls the plugin makes are from your own server:

These calls use credentials you enter and control. We never see your storage credentials, your media files or data about your site’s visitors.

The website

The website plume.arunprakashg.com has no analytics and sets no cookies. It loads no third-party fonts or scripts.

The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. How Cloudflare handles that data is described in its privacy policy. We do not use that data for any other purpose.

Email and GitHub

If you email us for support, we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request. Our contact address is [email protected].

Issues and pull requests on GitHub are public and are handled under GitHub’s own terms and privacy statement.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We have no advertising or analytics partners. Plume has no paid tier, so there is no payment processor.

Third-party services you configure

When you connect Plume to a storage or cache provider, your data goes directly between your WordPress site and that provider. It does not pass through any Plume-operated infrastructure. The provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

Your rights

We hold no account or license data about you. Beyond any support email, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, delete or export. If you have a specific concern, email [email protected].

Children

Plume is a developer tool. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
